L.A. Abrasion Machine

The L.A. Abrasion Machine determines the resistance to abrasion in crushed rock, slag, crushed and uncrushed gravel.  The machine features a welded structural steel frame and a fabricated 1/2″ thick abrasion-resistant steel drum. The machine also has a balanced drum assembly for easy rotation by hand.

In addition, an enclosed chain drive rotates the drum without a conventional slip clutch.  The positive drive delivers greater accuracy, while the self-contained worm-drive motorized speed reducer has anti-friction bearings and sealed lubrication.

Features:

• The standard model features an option for a safety/noise reduction cabinet (UTA-0601-N).
• The cabinet comes complete with internally lined soundproofing material to reduce sound level conforming to CE directives
• Cabinet must be ordered with the Los Angeles machine if required, as the electronic control unit will be installed on the safety cabinet at the time of manufacture
• Cabinet comes equipped with an electric safety device which automatically stops the rotation of the drum when the door is opened, conforming to CE directives.
