Shipping
We value our customers and want to make sure you get the lowest shipping rate possible. We use several different shipping methods to ensure your order is received in a timely manner. In order to give you the most accurate estimate, we wait until your products are packed and weighed. When shipping costs are determined, they are added to the final invoice. Unless specified, Myers will determine the best means of shipping. If purchaser designates the carrier, title to and risk of loss for product passes to the purchaser upon tender to the carrier at the shipping point. Shipping dates are approximate and are based upon receiving all necessary information from the purchaser. Myers shall not be liable for failure or delays in manufacturing or delivery due to causes beyond Myers’ control. When feasible, Myers will promptly advise the purchaser of the occurrence of such cause of its delay, and of its effect upon delivery. Title and right of possession to the products or shipments sold here under shall remain with Myers until all payments here under (including deferred payments) have been made in full. The purchaser agrees to do all acts necessary to reflect and record such interest.
Freight Shipments
Truck shipments to a building without a loading dock or forklift will incur an additional Lift Gate Charge. This is a standard pass-along charge from all shipping companies. Customers must specify when ordering whether or not a lift gate is needed.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is charged on all orders shipped to the state of Maine. Tax-exempt customers in Maine need to have a tax exempt certificate on file with us to avoid being charged tax. A sales tax is automatically generated on the checkout page of the website for all Maine companies. If you are exempt from the Maine sales tax, your invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
Photographs
We strive to provide accurate photographs of all of our products. There are instances where actual products may vary. Product images are for illustration purposes only.
Claims
The Purchaser is responsible to check all packages for damage or loss before accepting any shipment. Items are shipped in new condition and packed to withstand normal shipping risks. All claims for shortage, breakage or other discrepancies should be filed with the carrier immediately upon receipt of the shipment. The purchaser must also notify Myers of the loss or damage within 5 business days of delivery. After 5 business days and in the absence of such notice, the purchaser is deemed to have accepted any shipment. Myers is not responsible for damaged or lost items that have been accepted by the purchase.
Returned Goods
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to inspect all shipments for visual damage upon receipt. Equipment may not be returned to Myers without a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number which may be obtained by contacting us at info@myerstest.com. Once the purchaser’s claim has been approved, an email will be sent from Myers with a Return Merchandise Authorization Form attached. The form must be filled out by the purchaser and a copy of it must be attached to the returned product. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges when returning an item. No C.O.D. returns will be accepted. Returned goods may be subject to a restocking charge. Any use and/or damage by the customer, or due to customer’s improper repacking, is subject to further charges as necessary to place item(s) in a resalable condition. Please note: Certain items such as cut-to-size screen cloth and other special order products may be non-returnable.
