Proctor Molds

The proctor molds or compaction molds work with compaction testing of soils in the lab.  The modified and standard compaction molds come in either 4″ or 6″ diameters and have detachable collars. Made of cold-rolled steel tubing, plated for rust resistance. The split compaction molds also come in 4″ or 6″ diameters and have a vertical split in their body with 2 quick acting clamps for easy removal of specimen. Their clamps rotate 15 degrees off the base plate corners for easier installation on automatic mechanical compactors. The LBR compaction mold has a 6″ diameter and a volume of 1/13.33 ft³. Its collar extension and solid base plate clamps on either end of the cylinder. A beveled straight edge strikes off samples in containers, measures or molds.
