Sample Ejector

The sample ejector extracts soil samples from 4″ and 6″ compaction molds.  The ejection force generates by means of a 3-ton capacity, hand operated hydraulic jack.  The cast-aluminum ejector head assembly features different heights with the use of quick release pins.

The operator easily matches the ejection travel to the height of the mold. Adapter ring accessories provide soil samples from 2″, 2.5″, and 3″ diameter Shelby tubes to extrude.  Vertically position molds over the piston on a load platform. This prevents the emptied mold from falling back over the jack.
