The cylinder platen assembly works when testing 6″ or 4″ diameter concrete cylinders in compression. The platen features steel construction with components plated for corrosion resistance.  The 6.5″ diameter bearing platen has a .0005″ plane, and hardened to HRC 55 or greater. In addition it has scribed concentric circles.
