Softening Point Apparatus Set with Hotplate

The softening point apparatus set uses a single ring and ball method. Use this set to make determinations such as: asphalts, pitches, tars and most resins. The included hotplate provides an easy-to-set analog temperature control knob with graduated scale and LED display. Temperature range up to 540°C.
