Filter Flasks and Rubber Stoppers with Fitting
The thick-walled filter flasks feature side tubulation for 3/8” (9.5mm) ID vacuum tubing. The 2,000 ml and 4,000 ml flasks are great for use as pycnometers. The 4,000 ml flask also meets ASTM and AASHTO specifications for use as a vacuum container for weighing in air only. For testing with the SGA-105 #4 Drierite granules, the 1,000 ml flask is used as a moisture trap for vacuum pump protection.
The neoprene stoppers with glass tube have a 3/8” (9.5mm) hole and a glass tube. Each sized stopper fits a different size filter flask. The stoppers also come without the glass tube. The No. 8 stopper works with the 1,000 ml flask. The No. 9 stopper works with the 2,000 ml flask and the No. 12 stopper works with the 4,000 ml flask.
