The micrometer bridge set measures grout volume change. With a design to hold one cylinder to permit repeated volume change measurements without moving or disturbing the specimen.  The test method covers the determination of change in height of the specimen from the time of molding until the mixture hardens. It measures volume change due to hydration and settlement. As well as evaporation, and other physical and chemical effects.
