High Capacity Series Compression Machines

Description

High capacity series compression machines test high strength concrete with accurate and repeatable results. They exceed both ACI and ASTM requirements for frame rigidity and accuracy. Additionally, they are ideal for commercial testing laboratories that commonly test a wide variety of specimen types.

The high capacity machines are also easier to load and operate.  Their load frames feature wide horizontal openings, large lower platen tables, and bottom-mounted pistons with dust shields. They also feature heavy-duty load frame mounting stands that position the lower platen at a convenient height loading heavy test specimens.  For longer service life, each lower platen table is hardened to at least 55 HRC.  Additionally, the platen tables are plated for corrosion resistance and marked with concentric circles.
