Digital Vacuum Regulator

The digital vacuum regulator provides precise measurement and control for a range of laboratory vacuum applications.  The solid-state, mercury-free digital regulator features a preset control at 300mm below atmospheric pressure.  The machine works well on viscous asphalt testing with Asphalt Institute, Cannon-Manning and Modified Koppers vacuum viscometers.

The regulator comes equipped with an internal vacuum pump and does not require an external vacuum source.  It also features a vacuum range of 28 – 410mm Hg below atmospheric pressure and an accuracy of ±0.5mm Hg.  It works well on highly viscous materials such as asphalt cement at 60°C (140°F) per ASTM D2171 specifications.

The system includes an integral vacuum trap on the front to prevent liquids from being pulled into the system and damaging the internal components.  It also includes a NIST traceable certificate.
