Compactors

Compactors facilitate the compaction of asphalt mixtures in Marshall molds.  Available in manual and automatic. The hand compaction set features an oak pedestal with hammer support rod. The rod holds the hammer perpendicular to base position during compaction. The set includes the compaction hammer, pedestal with steel plate, and compaction mold. As well as a compaction mold holder, hammer support rod and adjustable guide.  The automatic compactors come in single, double and triple testing specimen options.  They all compact samples at a preset number of hammer blows and shut off on completion to ease sample preparation.  They come complete with mechanical compactor, automatic counter, oak pedestal and mold assembly.
