Splitters

Splitters divide samples of aggregate and other granular materials.  The universal sample splitters provide the most versatile sample dividers available. In addition, they assure top accuracy and truly representative specimens when reducing bulk samples.  Each unit features an exclusive adjustable chute system and proprietary lever release hopper.  A row of precision machined aluminum bars direct equal amounts of material to each side into sample collection pans.  The adjustable chute size allows the one unit to optimiz to do the work of several. Riffle-type sample splitters divide or halve dry materials such as cement, gravel, powdered ores, coal, coke, sand, soils, etc.  Materials poured into the hopper divide into two equal portions by a series of chutes. Chutes discharge the material alternately in opposite directions into separate pans.
