Description
Sulfur capping compound features ultra-strong hot-blended flakes for guaranteed consistency from sulfur, mineral filler, and special components. It provides top performance, even for high-strength concrete tests.
The capping compound melts quickly at 240° – 260°F (116° – 127°C). It pours at about 275°F (135°C), and hardens in minutes with minimal shrinkage. Its compressive strength exceeds 8,000 psi at 2 hours for the 2” cube test of ASTM C617. In addition, it’s used beyond 15,000 psi as a bonded cap with added aging.
