Description
Resiliency Tester
The resiliency tester designed to test resiliency of the hard rubber base of liquid limit machines. Done at 90-day intervals to ensure the base is in compliance with ASTM D4318. The device consists of a clear acrylic tube and cap, a 5/16″ dia. steel ball, and a small bar magnet. The test procedure is simple and quick to perform. As natural aging occurs, the base loses resiliency, eventually going out of specification and necessitating replacement.
