Prism Molds
The prism molds produce the required 10″ effective gauge length prism test bars. The molds feature removable partitions, base and end plates. They also have an effective gauge length that measures from inside the end of the studs. The molds produce cement prism specimens that are 11.25″ long. Including the studs, the outside to outside length of specimen is 11.625″. In addition, each mold is constructed of stainless steel for long lasting use.
Applications Include:
- Volume change tests of mortars
- Autoclave expansion of Portland cement
- Length change of mortar and concrete
- Potential alkali reactivity of cement/aggregate combinations
