Pocket Geotester

The pocket geotester dial penetrometer set takes on-site measurements of soil strength. It gives estimated unconfined compressive strength directly in tsf or kg/cm² when used with the standard 1/4in penetration plunger. When pressed into the soil the maximum force value appears on the dial until released by a push button. The inner dial scale features 0-6.0 x 0.1 divisions in tsf or kg/cm². Outer scale gives total force over 0-11kg range x 0.1kg divisions. The sturdy geotester features non-corrosive stainless steel contact parts, and a large 2.5in dial. The user-calibrated dial uses register plates provided and any reliable scale of 10-15lb capacity. Overall dimensions – 4.5 x 2.5in
