The liquid limit machine with counter has a brass cup that is suspended from an adjustable sliding holder which sets the height of the drop from a thumb screw in the back. The brass easily removes for cleaning and inspection.
The hard rubber base is machined on all sides and its rubber feet isolate it from the work surface. Includes a pack of 10 ASTM plastic grooving tools. The mechanical counter records the number of cup drops.
