The digital proving ring penetrometer determines the bearing capacity of subgrades or to measure soil compaction. It is light and easy to use in the field. In addition, it provides a rapid means of determining the penetration resistance of soil in shallow exploration surveys.
Includes:
- 30°, 1 in² cone
- 250 lb capacity proving ring
- 3/4″ dia. shaft, graduated at 6″ intervals
- 3/4″ dia. extension rod, graduated at 6″ intervals
- Cast aluminum t-handle
- Direct readout digital indicator
- Manual release
