Digital Muffle Furnace
The digital muffle furnace 242 in³ has a maximum temperature of 2,350°F. The unit opens from the side with an exterior case constructed of painted, heavy-gauge steel. The 2.5″ refractory firebrick chamber features easily-accessible heating elements mounted within. The Sentry 2.0 Micro Processor automatic digital controller offers several programmable options.
Additionally, the controller’s non-volatile memory stores up to four programs. Each program stores at least 10 segments. The unit works well in ashing, ignition testing, gravimetric analyses and volatile determinations of matter. It runs tests on soils, aggregate, and cement. The furnace also comes complete with a power cord and plug.
