7 Slot Flakiness Gauge
The 7 slot flakiness gauge determines the flakiness of aggregate particles. Particles are flaky when their thickness is less than 0.6 of the mid-size of the sieve fraction. The gauge has seven labeled slots for rapid hand trying or particles from each of the seven sieve cuts. The mass of all the flaky particles (passing through appropriate slots) is the flakiness index.
